Day 1: Reach Gangtok, stay at night
Day 2: Start for Lachung early morning - Night at Lachung
Day 3: visit Yumthang and Zero Point - night stay at Lachung
Day 4: Start for Pelling, reach. Night stay at Pelling (180 km)
Day 5: Sightseeing at Pelling
Day 6: Start for Ravangla - after lunch Vist the Temi tea garden / Maenam hill top - Night stay at Ravangla
Day 7: Start for Siliguri / NJP, night train to Sealdah

Day 2: Start for Lachung early morning - Night at Lachung
Day 3: visit Yumthang and Zero Point - Back to Gangtok. O/N at Gangtok.
Day 4: Start for Pelling, reach. Night stay at Pelling (180 km)
Day 5: Sightseeing at Pelling
Day 6: Start for Ravangla - after lunch Vist the Temi tea garden / Maenam hill top - Night stay at Ravangla
Day 7: Start for Siliguri / NJP, night train to Sealdah
Need your guidance ..Roudrashis . Good Plan ..covering North and West Sikkim in 7 days . Lachung , Pelling and Ravangla all the places are awesome. Reaching Zero point at the end of december may be tough due to snowfalls But possible. And the 4 th day is a little tough considering the kids .And Please dont forget to take some medicine for precaution . Wish you a great tri 5sep : After reaching Bagdogra airport hire a car for Gangtok . Its almost a 6 hours journey . Then Book a north sikkim trip of 3Days/ 2Nights in a good travel agency . And don't forget to bargain :P
16sep: Start your journey towards Lachen, the base for gurudongmar Lake . It's a beautifule journey via chungthang and can take 6-8 hrs. Overnight at Lachen
17sep: Start very early for Gurudongmar Lake[17100ft] via chopta valley and Thangu . Its a heavenly place . After that lunch in hotel and start for Lachung . overnight in Lachung
18sep: Visit Yumthung valley, yumesumdong (Zero Point) and then return back to Lachung . Have Lunch then back to Gangtok.
19sep: By now you must be tired . Take rest or you can visit Rumtake Monastery .and visit MG market and shop.
20sep: Start journey for east Sikkim. Visiting Tsonmgo or Changoo Lake[12400ft] , Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass [15500ft]
21sep: Local sight seeing at Gangtok covering Enchen Monastery, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok,Tashi View Point, Ban Jankri Waterfalls
22sep: Back to Bagdogra . absolutely amazing information here about north sikkim...it did help me prepare plan for my north sikkim tour. I am planning to visit sikkim from 6 Dec'12 till 12 Dec'12 with my wife. Here is my plan..
Day1_6th Dec: Reach NJP by 8-9am and move the gangtok and check into hotel. Spend rest of the day in gangtok
Day2_7th Dec: Travel to lachung. Stay O/N at lachung
Day3_8th Dec: Yumthang valley- zero point and move to lanchen. stay o/n at lanchen
Day4_9th Dec: Go to Gurudongmar lake and then come to lanchen. Stay O/N at Lachen.
Day5_10th Dec: Back to gangtok from lanchen
Day6_11th Dec: Nathula pass -baba mandir-tsomogo lake
Day7_12Dec: back to bagdogara
