The palace of Jodhabai is a confusing word that was
started by the guides of Fatehpur Sikri. And to remove the confusion of this
palace, the archeology department
has also put a stone on it, which clearly states that it was one of the palaces of the Harem. Which was mistakenly called Jodha’s palace.
Akbar married
daughters of many hindu Kings. But the Jodha that is said that she was not the wife of Akbar.Rather some historians even say
that Queen Jodha was not the wife of Akbar but was her daughter-in-law
A historian tells
about it that Jodha Bai ‘ the daughter
of Raja Bhagmal’ was sent to Jodhpur before this marriage. Where JodhaBai was renamed Jagat Kunwar. Rao Duda married his son Ratan Singh to the same Jagat Kunwar.
After one year Jagat Kunwar (Jodha Bai)
gave birth to a daughter. Which later came to be known as Mirabai.
Then who was she,
who lived at Akbar’s place instead of JodhaBai? It is said that Panbai, Daughter of ‘Diwan Nirmal’ and Jodhabai, grew up together and played
together. Akbar has not seen Jodhabai , He proposed marriage to Jodha for only
establish political relations. The Rajputs did not want to marry Jodha with
Akbar at all. Then with great planning, The Rajputs sent Panbai to Akbar
instead of Jodha Bai.
Agra Bharatpur yatra series -
One theory says that Jodha Bai was married to Salim, Akbar
married Rohilla princess Rukmavati, the daughter of the king of Bikaner, and
other Rajput princesses. Akbar also got his son Salim married to Princess Jagat
Gosai of Jodhpur. Due to being from Jodhpur she is called Jodhabai.
The guides of Fatehpur Sikri started calling this palace as
Jodha Bai’s palace and connecting it with Akbar. Which created all this confusion.It is true that there were
HIndu Princesses in this place and this is confirmed by the architecture and
building construction here. In which basil basins are also made.
The palace, which is called JodhaBai’s palace, is the
largest of these buildings. The construction of this palace reflects the art of
South India Why did Akbar marry the daughters of Rajputs? There was a deep
secret behind it, Actually the loyalty of the Rajputs was beyond doubt. Akbar
had done these things in his favor by associating with them as well as being
loyal relatives, Rajput used to support Akbar in every battle. That is why
Akbar ruled the largest part of India. There is a building here called
Panchmahal and it is said that Akbar’s queens used it to see the moon. Inspired
by Nalanda’s Buddhist Vihars, this building would have a smaller floor as it
moved up from to bottom. There are 48 pillars on the first floor which are
carved with flower leaves.
Now this palace is under the archeology department and now
here is the ticket, a government bus is also available to go down from here ,
which takes only Rs 5 to the main road. Sitting in this bus, I came back to the
Lohagad bus stand, also called to the Lohagad Depot , from here Delhi bus was
ready to run and the fare was around Rs 170 only . After boarding the bus I
reached Delhi in the morning and from there I reached my house in Ghaziabad.
