Every man dreams of going to Andaman, and why will he not? Beautiful beaches, bright and blue skies, and blue sea below, lush green lands, sparse population, little to no pollution what else anyone needs. These are all things we do not get at our home. I had not thought of Andaman before. The reason is the same that happens not only with me but with most people.

Andaman is far away. Second, no matter how far if its main lead would have been connected to the land, it would have been easy and economical to go by vehicle or train, etc. But now there are only two routes. From a water ship and an airplane. From the ship of water, I remembered that my Uncle's Daughter's husband was posted in Andaman and he lived there for many years. During his stay there, he invited us many times to come and stay, but we never accepted his invitation. Even then, the cost for one side of the route of the ship he told us about 3 thousand INR. And our wish died there.  So we could have seen many places at that time in three thousand INR.

The second thing is that when they were there, a tsunami came, and along with their family members we used to see the situation there on the news. Later, returning safely, my sister told us that we stayed on the terrace for several days eating the food packets that were dropped from the helicopter for remaining alive. This account of them put our desire to go there in cold storage. 

I have a friend Rajesh Sehrawat ji, with whom I have once traveled to Manimahesh and he repeatedly wished that one more trip must be done. His second chance with Sandeep Panwar aka Jat Devta was to go to Patal Bhubaneswar in his WagonR car as I did go there a few days ago I didn't go. This time he insisted on that and when he kept saying, I talked to Sandeep Brother. I was introduced to Rajeshji only through Sandeep Bhai. Sandeep Bhai said that when he is requesting so much love, then let us go on another trip with him. Rajesh Ji's request was for both me and Sandeep Bhai, so I asked him only where you want to go, so he took the name of one place that was Andaman. 

I didn't do any if or but and told Rajesh Ji that we can go to Andaman. He immediately said that you check on the internet, I checked on the net When I got to know that a single-sided ticket to Port Blair is about 11 thousand INR. 22 thousand for both sides and 66 thousand for three people. In that money, you can get a package for Thailand, which will have everything from food to drinks. But Sandeep Ji was not convinced and said that that it's his wish to go Andaman, and my passport issued nor Sandeep's brother and if we book the ticket and if it is not made then it will a problem because it can take about a year for some people.

There was no need for a passport to go to Andaman, but seeing such an expensive ticket, I was heartbroken. When I saw a few days later, it got a little cheaper. When I saw in the month of June, the cheapest ticket was by Go Air for Rs 5200 for one side, that meant, on the money that before was for one side we can get a journey for both sides.

It was still three months for June and I have a month off in June, so there was no problem of leave, so in June, I told the ticket rate to Rajesh Ji and Sandeep Bhai. They immediately transferred their share of money in my account to buy the ticket and let us know.

This was an amazing experience that I have not had done before. I had not even traveled by air yet. I looked at both Make My Trip and Yatra.com on the internet, both had the cheapest Go Air tickets and both were priced at the same rate. I wanted to do it with MakeMyTrip first, but I had some technical problems, then I tried on Yatra.com. Meanwhile, I had a call from the customer care of the Yatra.com people who said that Sir, we will help you with booking tickets. I was surprised that they are watching real-time who is doing and what on our site. I wanted to book the tickets through net banking but couldn't, then I used a debit card and booked confirmed tickets from June 16 to June 24 for the trip and return.

I asked the Jaat devta many times, but he didn't tell me the tour of how many days would be fine, so I booked eight days accordingly. But everything is not in our hands, so what we thought didn't happen and around the first of June, a mail came to me, I felt the ground slipping beneath after reading that mail. They informed us in the mail that they have canceled our flight and to discuss on customer care. The mail was from Go Air. When I got a call from Customer Care, they said that because of some specific reason they have canceled all our flights for Port Blair, we cannot do anything in it, your money will be deposited in your account soon.

It was very strange. I asked him to give us a ticket for another flight, but they told that no flights are available. If you want, take a ticket to someplace like Bangalore, etc. When I clicked on another site, I came to know that at the original rates, the flight from another company can still be found, but at this rate it is impossible. I yelled a lot at the customer care attendants, but they did not respond.

Disappointed, I told Jaat Devta whatever has happened that I started waiting, that once they return the money, I will sue them at consumer forum for years. First, they book the ticket by saying it is a cheap scheme and after that, they cancel that flight.
