While returning by speed boat and going to Baratang there was only one problem that speed boat don't have protecting canopies to stop the harsh and bright sun rays. After reaching Baratang Jetty, we now had to wait for the next convey to arrive. Since there are only four turns to convey, we came from nine o'clock. Now the twelve o'clock convey will arrive, which will get to the Middle Strait by two o'clock and then it will take half an hour to cross the ferry on the sea, then we will get the bus till around two-thirty and it was two o'clock.
Half an hour was not much time. Here again, met Kamaraj on Jetty and he told us about his website which he had built by spending a lot of money and the business was not coming as expected. Kamaraj himself informed that though you will also get a local bus that runs from here to Baratang for the next jetty Uttara Jetty, it stops at every village, and it will take time.
We were going to Rangat and got off at the Rangat bus. Now we had to catch the bus of Rangat again and we knew that all the buses plying from Port Blair have full seats and hardly any passenger gets down on the way. Kamaraj had also told that you may not get a seat but being a tourist, they can also let you stand and travel. Shortly the cars got off the Jetty. There were two government buses on it. Kamaraj boarded us on the first bus. There was no seat on the bus. When we went to ask for a seat on the first bus, there was not even a single seat on the whole bus. There were no passengers standing in the first while the second bus was very crowded. We ran back towards the first bus which had boarded all the passengers. I and the Jaat devta went up, Rajesh Ji was left behind. I requested the bus driver to wait for five minutes, so he at that time too. Now we were going to stand and travel about seventy kilometers.
After crossing the Baratang stream from the Middle Strait, another road continues for about 36 kilometers, and then comes another stream of the sea. Here again, the passenger got off the bus and the bus and the passengers were boarded in the ship and left us at the other side Uttara Jetty. The thing to note here is that the route from Baratang to Uttara Jetty is also Jarawa Reserve. Therefore, even here, the camera cannot be used in the bus. But yes, as soon as we landed on Uttara Jetty, we had come out of the Jarawa reserve area and now there was no way of stopping till Rangat or from Rangat to Diglipur.
